THE WALK:

ONLY ABOUT 4 miles , ENOUGH FOR November! Fairly EASY walk, few stiles, and although a couple of inclines, they are very steady. Some good views.

PUB: The Woolpack, Main Street, Esholt, BD17 7QZ

This pub is famous for featuring, for many years, in the TV soap, Emmerdale. A traditional village pub in a unique location. The car park is located at the rear of the pub.

MENU:

A rather limited, lunch time menu, although a good choice of sandwiches and toasties with chips! And some rather tasty sounding “Woolpack” burgers. A good range of beers, Timothy Taylor and some guest ales.

GETTING THERE:

From Bradford, via Shipley, continue on the A6038 up Hollins Hill. Just after the traffic lights for Hollins Hall, turn right to Esholt. In the village, turn left and the pub is on left. Large car park at rear. There will be coffee/tea available, on Alan, for early arrivals!
